'47 pu emergency brake location

I have a '47 pu and the emergency cable handle is missing. I believe it is to be located under the left side of the dash. But, I cannot figure how it is to be mounted. The handle I purchased does not align with any holes that I can locate. Does any one have a picture of the correct handle or can describe how to mount it?
 
if your truck has a 3 speed transmission it has a brake cable handle to the left of the steering column. It is a truck only from 1940 to 47. One from an automobile will not fit, it bolts to the firewall and the dash-pictures are kind of hard to see but I will send them. I have an extra handle if you should need it.

Thank you for the pictures of the correct emergency brake handle. I can see the difference in the pictures and the one I purchased online. The one I have must be for an automobile. I would be interested in the extra handle you have for a pick-up.
