Nice picture of a 1939 Ford Standard Coupe posted by KUBE.
Note what he says about the Paint Colour of the Hood Ornaments - the Back Ground should be Body Colour, not Blue.

I really don't think this post is out of line on the discussion board. It is not a "Want to Buy" request, but a request for information which is normal for a discussion board. For all we know, he may be a "newby" to the hobby that is not aware of the resources available to us, or maybe they may even be reproduced and available on the aftermarket.

Notwithstanding all of that, "GB" has made a generous offer.
 
I absolutely agree with you Tubman. Upon re-reading this it is just as you stated. I have never seen these 'caps being reproduced and I doubt they will ever be. Let's hope this new guy shows back up and tells us about his '38 tonner. In the mean time I will look for a good V8 style cap.

Deuce are you asking why I flip flopped on my response? If so it's because Tubman pointed out it was just a question about where one could get a particular item. For instance, 'Can anybody tell me where to buy king pins for my 38 ford?' I suppose a clever poster could word things to get around the rules, but this guy is a newbie here.
 
GB my first response was why would he come back after he got his hand smacked on his first post and then I reread yours and tubman's post and realized I should have kept my mouth shut! No offense meant, Dale.
