47 Ford Sedan

Hi everyone, I need help. I own a 47 ford Sedan 6 cyl. G series and I am in desperate need of the belt that runs from the water pump to the generator ( this is a 2 belt system ) it is 30" outside diameter and 7/8" wide. It's the only thing keeping me off the road. I have looked almost everywhere. any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

go to the local hardware store and ask for "B" belt in the size you mentioned,also get one 1" shorter and 1 " longer and return the ones that do not fit, not perfect but will work, also go to a truck parts store, these type wide belts are still used today on heavy equipment, fork lifts, etc

Or have O'reilly Auto Parts, Napa , Carquest check their Gates catalogs. I found a belt for my 36....it was green but it worked. Also Mac's has them listed by size, you have to scroll thru their list to find the one you need. Found one I needed there and returned the green one to O'reilly.
