47 ford pickup driver side door lock latch

My driver side door lock latch is worn out and everyone claims to be "out of stock" with the repos. Anyone got one there not going to use or a good working original?? There is one on ebay but it looks like pure trash. Anyone out there rebuild these things.?? Thanks!!

wish i could help ,but i got the same problem . if you do find some let me know . i will maybe try to repair mine ,tired of having the door rattle .

Yes they can be repaired, the springs are available. Try Fred at southside obsolete.
