47 Ford / Mercury doors interchange?

I have a drivers side door from a 47 Ford coupe (long door coupe, not a business coupe). Will this door fit a 47 Mercury coupe? I think the answer is 'yes' but I want to check with you experts that know for sure. Please reply. Thanks in advance!

Yes. Same door if they are both sedan coupes.

Would the belt line trim holes for the Ford trim be the same for the Mercury?

The Doors will interchange model to model, but you will just have to change the Chrome Strips to suit. The 46 & early 47 Ford Super Deluxe have the extra narrow trim surrounding all the windows which you will need on the Mercury.
This photo shows the chrome strips applicable to Australian assembled 46 - 48 Fords & Mercurys, and may differ slightly for USA models. For example, the Ford with the Round Parkers under the Headlights was only released here as a 48 model. Our 46 & 47 Fords, while they look similar had different ends on.
Please refer to photo for details. For your Mercury, you will need the same profile as the strip at the bottom of the photo.
