47 Ford Dashboard compatibility

Can anyone tell me if the dash from a 47 Ford Convertible is different from any of the other '47 cars? My Uncle has one that he's going to do a wood grain treatment on for my Dad's 47 Convertible, but he doesn't know which car it's from - got it from a swap meet.

If there's any doubt about the fitment, I'd rather pull the dash and send it to him instead of him woodgraining a dash that may not fit.

It is my understanding that all '42 through '48 dashboards are the same apart form wood-grain pattern and instrument colour.
