'47/8 Fresh air heater

Very interesting, I didn't know there was such a thing, what is a Green Book and where might I get one. Thanks a bunch.

Kelly, I am shocked that you don't know what the
Green Book is. lol. I have one if you ever need to look up something. I think the actual book is better than the one on the CD.

I have a complete fresh air heater assembly including the pieces in the hood for a 47-48 that I will sell. If someone is interested in it PM me.

Do you still have the pieces for the hood? I am interested in the piece that goes over the radiator that the snorkle attaches to.

I have all of the pieces, removed from my one owner 48 cooupe. Duct work , fan motor and heater core.
PM me if you're interested. I'd love to sell the complete unit if someone could use it.

I am a newbe at the ford barn and am not sure how to contact a person. I do lurk on the ford flathead site.
I have all the heater parts except the one part that fits under the front of the hood and holds the front of the long air tube against the top of the hood. I think it attaches somewhere above the radiator. I kind of know what it looks like. If you don't want to split up your set, could you send me the dimensions and maybe trace it out on some stiff paper. That way I could make the part out of alum?
I hope this is ok to contact you in this fashion.

I got the attached info from the 48 Ford advisor for the Early Ford V8 Club. These were scanned from copies, so I hope they are clear enough to be read. There is a gasket that goes on top of the fan motor between the fan and the air duct. A 37 Ford transmission to floor gasket can be modified to make this gasket.

Would you be interested in selling just the fresh air heater core only? What are you asking
for it? What condition is it in? Any chance of sending me the measurements & a picture?

Thanks
