46 windshield divider

After 8 years i'm finally ready to get the windshield garnish mouldings back in and have a couple of questions. Which way does the inside divider bar go? Bump to the top or bottom and does it go under the garnish or over? Thanks guys.

Do a Google search on "How to install 1946 ford windshield divider.

Here's 1940. 46 is probably the same.
I would think that the holes would not line up if you installed it upside down.

The hole is for the vacuum wirer switch.
