4 46 ford Member Jun 15, 2010 #1 hey me and my dad just looked at the oil gauge and its not reading. we're getting oil from the filter down to some part at the bottom. is the oil gauge here. what do we need to do to get it to read properly.

4 46 ford Member Jun 15, 2010 #2 is it safe to actually try and start the motor now that oil is pumping? We wouldn't burn out anything?
