How is the toe board screwed to the body on a 1942 - 1948 coupe? The fixed nuts in the body are #12-24 thread. The holes in the toe board are almost 3/4" in diameter. A #12 screw obviously would fall right through the 3/4" hole. Did Ford use some kind of countersunk flat washer with OD big enough to cover the 3/4" hole and ID small enough to accommodate a #12 taper head screw?
