Long door coupe is what's called a club coupe or Five passenger coupe. it has a back seat.
Short door coupe is a Business coupe, no back seat. The cab area is longer on the Club coupe so the long door.
The "Long" doors are the same as Two door sedans.
The short doors are the same as Four door sedans.

Long door = sedan coupe, back seat and slightly different roof line.
Short door = business coupe, no back seat and more slanted rear glass.
