I am reassembling my 46 and am making tailgate panel. Unfortutunatley the area where the tailight arm passes through that panel had been broken away. I need to know, was there just a hole in that panel or a slot for the tailight arm or support to slide through. A part of a hole still exists but I need to know if that continues to edge of panel. Rest of panel was excellent except for this small area. Any pics would be very helpful. Thank you!!!

Here is a picture of the taillight on my 46. Ron Heiden refinished the wood and made new panels. I noticed there is a 46 Woodie on the Woodiesusa.com web site http://woodiesusa.com/car6.html . If you look close at the taillight assemble there is only 1 hole in the panel vs mine has 2. I hope this helps. If you need more pictures let me know....Gary
