'46-'48 Courtesy lights

Hello all,
When I bought my '46 Ford coupe the two courtesy lights were in a bag and the headliner was ripped out. I have no idea how to wire them up..Also does the light with the toggle switch go on the passenger or driver's side?

I can at least say the one with the toggle is driver's side, the wiring, not so sure, but mine (48 merc) runs along the upper channel and down the A pillar.

The wiring diagram shows the switch on the right (passenger) side.

My unmolested '46 had the toggle switch on the PS.

Just watched on youtube, a promotional video from 1949, it makes note and shows the courtesy light switch on the drivers pillar for the 1949 Ford.

Henry Ford will be still bemoaning the changes after his death.
