428 cj engine

Anybody know what a 428 cj is worth? I am looking at one that is stuck from sitting but I am not sure what to offer for it. How do you identify them for sure? It is supposed to be from a 69 cougar xr7.

I bought one from Pick & Pull wreckers for $175 and it was not stuck... in fact i fired it up when I got it home..
I would start with $75 and go from there... Being stuck is probably not just from sitting..

If it is a real CJ then its worth big money. I would think around $1000 or more for one not stuck. May have to pay that much for a stuck one. They aren't worth as much as a 427 but come in second place on the Ford scale.
