Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the 42-48 glove box locks between ford & mercury. I know the dashes have some differences with trim & the glove box is slanted but I am not certain about the lock. Any info would be appreciated.
Went to install the Ford lock in my '48 Merc and found the dash opening too small to push the lock through.Removed the stainless trim cap and it otherwise fit fine.
