41 stake bed size...please

i am having to build a bed for this truck .would one of you fellow ford lovers with one please measure the length and width message me with them.i can't find one in my area to measure .

The stake bed for the 41 is the same as the later models, I think up to '56. I have scanned a couple of pages from catalogs I have. This is the best of and one more at:

thnx bob.that will get me in the ballpark.the 3 grand for a new one is a bit much.that is why i am building one and the fact that i can't find a used one near okla.

If your '41 is a 3/4 ton, then it would be 90" long, not 80".

If your truck is a 3/4 ton then here is another drawing for the F-2 3/4 ton. If it's a half ton I know one in Illinois that might still be available. It doesn't have the side racks but it looked good from the pictures the guy sent me, I couldn't use it, I was looking for a nine foot bed for my '51 F-4 which I found about two hours away for $200, complete with all of the hardware.

mine is a 3/4 .i used to see these things sitting around when i was looking for parts for my victoria.now that i've moved on to project #2 i can't seem to remember where they were....go figure...
