'41 Ride Height

I'm contemplating a Posies reverse eye spring for my '41 coupe. Posies says 2 1/2 to 3 inch drop from stock. Does anyone have info. showing the stock height? I'm assuming I have some droop now and am trying to see how much additional lowering I can expect.
Thanks, Tom

i just received my rev eye rear spring from posies for my 41 coupe, they don't come with pressed in shackle bolts ,i ordered them from macs and as soon as i get them intall spring,im also interested on how much lower my car will sit, right now im getting 17" to the bottom of bumper, hope it lowers it at least 3" or 4" ..by the way posies sent me a 35-40 spring and says with 46 1/2 perch centers that i have its the correct one...

According to Posies, early and late '41s used different springs. I guess ol' Henry was using up his old stock of springs.

I thought 1940 axles has perch centers 38 1/2 in. apart. (center to center).
King pin center to center is 48 1/2 in. I used Posie #2040 reversed eye spring and it dropped the front end 1 inch initially - then settled a little lower over time. A Magnum 4 in. dropped axle lowered it 2 more inches.

i thought we were talking about rear spring on the 41
