41 rear glass removal

I think I know how but not sure. How do I remove the back glass and get it back in on a 41 super de luxe? Getting the headliner done and they want it out. I used a rope to get my glass in my 53 truck just wanted to check with the pros first.

It probably depends on how long the rubber/window has been in there.
If it has been there since 1941 you with probably have to cut it out with a box cutter and replace it with a new rubber because it will have lost all its flexibility.
You do this by cutting the outside flange off.

If it is fairly new, you will have to put pressure on the glass and push it inwards trying to feed the outside flange of the rubber in as you go.
 
Do they also want to place the headliner material under the rubber seal when you reinstall the glass? If so you need to have the new one on hand.
