41 Convertible Interior Door/Shoulder Panel Trim

I am restoring the interior on my 41 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible. As all the original interior upholstery and trim was missing, I am not sure what interior trim I am supposed to have. Does anyone know if the 41 convertible had plastic trim running horizontally on the doors and shoulder (inner quarter) panels? I know the 42-48s had some plastic and stainless trim, but I am not sure about the 41s. Also, if the 41 did have this trim, does anyone have any idea where to locate these pieces? Thanks, Scott
 
Thanks for the tip. I actually have the EFV8 41-48 book, and while they are very clear on the 42-48s, they are a bit vague on this specific trim for the 41, that's why I figured I'd reach out to the group. I do agree that this book is typically the best source for this type of info.
 
I am not a 41 Ford expert but I remember years ago a guy in Dearborn area that was partnered with Roy Nacewicz at the time his name was or is Gene Payne. He had a 41 converible as I recall and reproduced the interior door trim plastic strips. Saw him advertise in Hemmings couple years ago that he had a few left. Do not know his status today or contact info as he is no longer listed in V8 club roster in Michigan . I doubt if LeBaron Bonney supplies these with door panel kits as someone mentioned on V8 site but mayby they have some info for you.

Hello: Re; 41 S/D Conv. I have a S/D. It has the door trim. It is not the same as the '42. It also covers a portion of the rear seat panel. The trim is a light color like the dash knobs. Have lots of pic's.
