41 Bumpers

Can any one tell me if there are more than one bumper style for the 41 car. Were there any smooth, rounded bumpers or were they all the "step" type. Kind of scolloped looking from the end.

'41 Deluxe and Special models had '40 bumpers. The '41 Super Deluxe had the '"step" style bumper.

mine is a super deluxe and has the stepped bumpers,i have seen lesser models with what looks like 1940 smooth bumpers

There was also the woodie bumper which allowed some clearance for the rear tailgate/tire.

also, the '40 style rear bumper on special & deluxe has ford stamped in the middle.
