400A and Victoria Seat Question

Does the 400A Convertible Sedan and the Victoria use the same rear seat? I'm referring to structure obviously not upholstery.

Short answer, no. The rear seat back of the Victoria is hinged at the bottom to access the storage space behind, in the “bustle”.

Okay, to reword it, regardless of the hinges, are the wood dimensions and springs the same or different? In other words would the upholstery for one fit the other?

Not sure if the seat dimensions are the same and whether the upholstery would fit.
The piping in the seats differ, more in the A400 according to the Judging Standards. Which would only matter in fine point.

Vern the A400 does hinge. just like the Victoria. JR the A400 seat wood, springs & covers are different than the Victoria. the seat bottom and hinges in the A400 mounts about 3" further forward than the Victoria. I have both of them.

I have to correct myself the seat mount 3" further back than the Victoria. the hinges mount in the wood not in the metal part of the rear floor.
