I posted this on the V8 Club Forum as well, not sure how many of us are on both...

Hi,
Does anyone who has installed seatbelts in their 38-40 Tudor have photos to share of the location of the anchor bolts for the front belts. Looking for pics of both the inside and under the car. I'm using Julianos belts and anchors.

Much appreciated,
Chris

I installed a set of Julianos shoulder harness/belts in the front and seat belts in
the back with no problems. I used the anchor brackets that didn’t need to be
welded in the front. They have a nice set of instructions for the 40
installation on their website, with pictures. They were very helpful with my
questions.

Thanks for this thread. I plan to do the same for my 39 Fordor. Instead of welding the plate in, you can buy a B pillar anchor that you can use instead. It is on pg 17 of their catalog.

Problem when I mounted the belt retractors on the post of my '41 fordor was there was no room between the post and the front seat. I mounted the retractors to the floor under the front seat. Had to sort of reverse the buckets to make the belt lay correctly.

Put the rt retrackter onthe lft, thelft onthe rt, they will fit in the inside of uph., then run the belt thru the plastic slots that are in late model cars, Work just fine. That's what I did.
