Hi guys,
These are the nuts that hold a rear accessory shock mount to the wish bones at the lower backing plate. I've attached a picture and need 2 of these. They are 1.25 " deep and have a 1/2 20 fine thread.
Thanks for your help!
Dick

I lost one driving to town the other day and the other was out but I found it in the parking lot.Made me a new one.Took a bolt the correct size and machined it to fit

Your best bet may be to buy a hex bolt with the correct diameter shank, chuck it up in a lathe and drill and tap the required threads as suggested. Do you have access to a lathe?
Mine use lock washers.

Thanks for the suggestions - I have a friend that has a lathe.
I was hoping someone would have one they'd consider selling. I also thought of sleeving it to the 1/2' bolt and use a longer bolt.

Hi, I believe I have the tube nuts you are looking for that fit the rear shock conversions. Mine look exactly like those pictured, but I think the thread is actually 7/16ths fine thread not 1/2 inch fine. However, even if that is the case you could just get some new 7/16ths fine thread grade 8 bolts and you would be in business. I think that would be a lot easier and cheaper than making these tube nuts. Do you need the short "sleeves" that fit over these tube nuts? I'm not sure that I have the large lock washers that go with them, but I will look again. The shafts and threads look okay on these but the head could use a little filling and filing just to clean them up a bit. E-mail or call me at jen.toby@yahoo.com phone 802-869-2688 if the parts I have will help you. Toby Lampert

I used a set of longer bolts also because I did the 9" Ford axle conversion on mine but they are 1/2 20 thread. If I loose another I will sleeve it and use a lock washer and reg nut
