40 Pickup Ring & pinion

Speedway has 3.25 gear sets for $349. No idea of the quality. You might try V8 Ford Sales in SC also.Just checked and V8 Ford sales is out of stock. Midwest Early Ford in OH has them in stock $499.

I think now days they are all made by the same folks, some Italian company, I forget the name. Seem to be OK
 
The Motive gears I have used are high quality. What I have noticed: pinion gear front shift front shatft needs to be slightly smaller to allow preload adjustment. A crankshaft polisher or sandpaper with a lathe will do it.
Also pinion gear needs to be shimmed in .020 or so to get a good pattern.

They may have changed their blueprint, to correct these.
