40 pickup hood latch

I have a hood latch, spring and brace that I purchased years ago and am now finishing up my 40 Ford pickup. If I uploaded correctly I have three photo attachments. I cannot remember how these parts go on and have no photos. I purchased the parts from Bob Drakes and called them but they do not know how the parts are to be installed. Can someone please send me a photo of your pickup hood latch/spring mounted to help me out or tell me where I can find the information. Thank you...appreciate it...

The hook is the secondary or safty catch . It is attached to the center bar of the grill with the hook up facing forward by a single single countersunk machine screw. The brace goes from the hood seem down to the main hood latch bracket. Tim
