Today I trial fit my 8ba with T-5 in my 40 panel frame. The problems I need to solve are Fenton exhust manifolds do not clear with Saginaw 525 steering box. I hope Reds have a solution. Next I need to do some grinding on the T-5 to get more clearance at the tail shaft. I am still hoping that I can go without splitting the wishbone but need to get trans fit first. Plan is to mount wishbone ball on the bottom of the CE frame plate. If not will have to go with split wishbones. I have a 4 inch drop axle. Also need to see if I have clearance issue with drag link using truck oil pan. I am having fun!! These projects keep the mind going. Always open to advice. Thanks, Pete.
