Can a 40 Ford car tank be used in a 40 pickup? Thanks.

The tanks are the same, different fill pipe.

'38-'40 Ford car and '38-'41 1/2 ton pickup and panel truck all use the same tank. The only exception is sedan deliveries. The sedan delivery tanks are unique.
