40 Ford Raffle

[VeryTangled]

Hi Everyone, I stole this from FaceBook...

"Today is the day. Someone will be praising the luck of the Irish as we draw the winner of our 1940 Ford Coupe Raffle at 2 PM today."

[1942deluxe]

I'm Irish and I bought chances. I'll be waiting for the call....

[Bill]

Hope it goes to an active Barner that will make it more real! Bill

[Jim636]

The anticipation is killing me.....

[VeryTangled]

Hi Everyone, 1942deluxe, I'm on pins and needles right now... About 45 minutes until the drawing. I have a 1 in 200 chance, I bought twenty tickets.

This is Frank Miller's '49, my '36, and Josh Conrad, I think he's the Director of Collections, or something like that. He basically lives his life around the Foundation.

I have my fingers, toes and eyes crossed watching the clock. It's in the bag.

At the first Eastern National Meet in Charlotte, they had a raffle for a WWII Ford Jeep. That was what set my dad off on a quest and ended up with 17 of them and 2 GPA's!!

This reminds me of my high school dating career...I'm crushed!

[Seth Swoboda]

That was a great fundraiser. I'd be in on another if someone wants to donate their early Ford V8!

[funrunr]

I was so confident I was going to win I bet $40 on it. Oh well congrats to Vince, is he a member here on the Fordbarn?

[TJ]

I don't know if he is a member of Fordbarn, but he is an Early Ford V-8 Club of America member. Congratulations to Vince.

[FrankWest]

Congrats Vince!
I never win anything. For all us losers at least we won't have to come up with the tax money on the value of the car. What is the estimated value of a car like that?
