Roger is this the type that goes in the roof above the center of the windshield?What kind of an antenna did you install under your running board?I have an amplified in my 40,and can't pick up AM stations.

Yes, this is the roof antenna. I purchased a regular telescoping antenna that is for a cowel mount. Bored a hole in the first running board bracket to mount the base, then extended the antenna to the next bracket a put it in a small round rubber biscuit with some silicone to hold it in place. Roger
