Suddenly the latch on my pickup broke, or stopped working because of the return spring that returns the latch plate to it's position after the door is opened. In the pic you can see the end of the spring - it's supposed to be riding on the back of the latch block ( where the dots are) as the handle is used, but I guess it's mis shaped now so it slides off. Anyone else had this problem? Solutions? I see Carpenter carries new springs for everything EXCEPT the pickups - are they available anywhere?? Thanks!
