'40 Ford Hood Hinge

One of those senior moments. Didn't take any pictures when I took it apart. At this point not even sure which is left and right side. Can someone post a picture of their '40 Ford hood hinge so I can install mine correctly? This is the hinge with the large spring on it. Thanks in advance.

Here are a few of my '40 I am also putting together after many (?) years! I know it's not a flathead, but it is a FORD. I do have two flat powered Fords!

The last 40 hood I did I drilled the holes in the cowl a bit larger to get more adjustment.
Leave them lose….close the hood….push it (hood) around to were you want it….clime inside and cinch down the ones under the dash ….. Open it back up and tighten the others.

Pictures are worth a thousand words! These are just what I needed. Thanks to V8 Bob and 296 V8. Starting to put my '40 Tudor back together pretty soon.
