W weathrmn Junior Member Nov 8, 2011 #1 I'm ready to install the front fender brace on my 40 coupe. My question is how the bottom center mounts to the front crossmember. Is it just a bolt, washer, nut or is there a spring on the bolt like the radiator mount. Thanks, Tony

Click to expand... You are correct about the material. It is a square of duck cloth that goes between the brace and frame.
