'40 Ford Deck Lid Handle

Can anyone tell me how to remove and replace the deck lid key tumbler on a '40 Ford? the small round part has fallen out, leaving the larger cylinder that locks the handle. I have a complet new cylinder, but need advise on how to remove and replace it. Thanks much--Bill

Take it to a locksmith and pay him to do it. It is not difficult to do, but requires a special tool

I carefully drilled out the small pin that compresses when you turn the key.
