Looking for a good rebuildable flathead for my truck. 85 horsepower flattie. Thanks
 
I have a ford 3-1/16 bore it has been heat cleaned and magnafluxed,the sleeves have been pulled,one cly. has a nick in it that will probably need a sleeve.
I have enough parts to make a short block at least. John 360 893 7259
 
I have a 42/48 motor with 40 distributor. I got the engine with a 40 Merc I bought from a friend. He paid $6500, all said and done, to have it rebuilt several years ago. It has never been run and I currently have it in the shop waiting in line for the dyno. The dyno will make sure it is as represented and will break in the cam and lifters. It has a 4" crank and a mild cam and was rebuilt by a reputible builder. After it is dynoed I will take any reasonable offer as I don't plan to use it. Let me know if you are interested and I will let you know when the dyno is done. I live in Seattle.
