40 Deluxe hardware question

I want to install the missing radiator to inner fender braces (91a-8046) on my '40, but i'm not sure how it bolts to the radiator. The rad. has a "keyhole" slot on each side so I figured a carriage head bolt was the ticket. Problem is, on the hardware store c.h. bolt the square part under the head is too long (thicker than the rad. bracket) so it would still be loose if I put the brace & nut on. Did Ford have a special bolt for this or should I start filing some square holes in washers for spacers?
Also, at the other end of the brace does it go between the inner apron & support or between support & bolt head? Thanks Guys......

Contact Roy Nacewicz at: 734-654-9450, he should be able to hook you up with the correct Ford hardware.

You could file the bolt to fit.

I think it goes between the bolt head and the "V" support, but it has been a while since I took mine apart.

Um guys, actually the bracket to the radiator goes between the fender apron and the fender support bracket.
