40 Dash colors

I'm sure this has been ask a thousand times,but I was standing in the wrong place at that time;does anyone have formulas or paint avail for the 2 colors on a 40 Del dash? Thank you. cbmerrill1@yahoo.com

Try Roy Nacewicz Enterprises. He had the correct color paint for my '40 Standard dash.

The original color schedule codes by Ford for the Deluxe dash were:
Monaida Maroon TCP1M043
Rose Metallic TCP 1M042

Color-ite is Color-wrong for the deluxe dash. Plus, I don't think they sell paint anymore.

It's really not so much of a mystery. It's just that it's hard to find paint that really matches the true original color. So many are "close but no cigar". BOB DRAKE used to sell it years ago and it was a perfect match. I would love to know where he got it. Here's a photo of his paint applied.

Thanks 18Fordy, I must have a hundred pics of those dashes! I love them, the Mrs isn't so excited. Oh well.

I've seen the same question thrashed over on the EFV8 site also. Lots of discussion, not much concrete data.
