I used the Drake hinge pin mirrors on both of my '40 convert's. It was better than nothing but still hard to see out of.

I was looking at the hinge mount mirrors in B.D.'s catalogue & the fine print says the hinge must be drilled & tapped for a retaining screw. I thought it just went on the hinge pin, what's the deal?
