40/41 vs. 42-47 pu hood hinges

Are the hood hinges the same on the 40/41 pickups and the 42 to 47 pickups (and trucks)? Seems most of the earlier hinges are worn out, but I find alot of good post WWII hinges.

Re-pop hinges are available for around $50.00, I believe 39 thru 47 trucks are the same, also think the car will interchange.
