In doing some research for a friend, the war time Ford parts book has a hint that the 4 cylinder was available in a 41 sedan delivery. Have any one ever seen one?
 
never seen one, 1/2 ton pick-up, 3/4 ton variations (pick-up,stake bed, cab/chassis) and a one ton variations so I would not be surprised at a panel truck having one.
 
Gentleman in Illinois had a restored 4 cylinder SEDAN Delivery on Ebay last year. Ran a number of weeks. Never saw it sell either. Struck me as under powered.
 
I believe Paul Sargent in Fairlee, Vermont has a '40 Sedan Delivery with a 4 cylinder in it, he should be in the Vermont or New Hampshire Early Ford V-8 Club roster.........
 
Back about 1995, I ran into an older friend of mine at a car show in St Paul MN. That had a 40 Ford 1/2 ton with a four cyl . He said it was based on a tractor engine, half of a Ford V8. I have heard of this before but have not seen one untill then.
