3X spark plugs from Amazon

yes they do and have normal r/hand thread. but they are on tight
eat your wheaties and try it again
just curious why your trying to separate them on a new plug

Back in my anal retentive days, I loosened two sets, one original, one new repops, simply because I wanted the "3's" to all face the same direction when the plugs were in their respective holes. You need one tight fitting, nick free six-point socket in a heavy vice for the base and a close fit six point deep on a breaker bar for the top lock collar. A 3/8 impact may be more effective than the breaker bar, but I haven't tried that.

As 1930 coupe mentioned, reassembly leads to leaks. That I learned the hard way. I ended up smearing a tiny bit of muffler cement containing sodium silicate on the seal area.

If you do line 'em up like I did you'll need to keep track of which holes they go in, as the thread start leads are clocked randomly.

OH! dear, all ur C-16-C numbers face every which a way, what's a Dog:cool: to do?? And none uf r valve stems are stickin' the same way!! BUT, all the slots in the chromium interior screws ARE aligned & on the dash rail, they go across ways, SO THERE! Gotta' go see if our 2 fake DUCKS out back ur still in a ROW, whew! a Dog's:cool: work is NEVER done! Tomorrow, I'll see if all ur HOT-WHEELS ur facin' the same way & see if the MAN put the top back on the HAI-KARATE, so's it don't "GAG" out the MEN'S room! Did "they" raise the MINIMUM WAGE yet?

Buster T.- While we're on the subject, which way should the lug nut flats face? Outside flat perpendicular to the rim, or inside flat perpendicular to the hub? Or should one flat on each be perpendicular to the bolt circle- and then which way, forward or backward on both sides, or both sides CW or AC. And what about the two on the spare? I've got a big box of lug nuts and changing each one 13 or 80 times to get it right is a lot of work. Please advise. Maybe Bill can help since lug nuts require thumbs, not exactly you're forte.

I met a fellow that campaigned a fine point car back in the 70's and 80's.He was hopping up and down one day,at a show a judge had pointed out to him the dash screws were done wrong. He had lined all the slots up to be the same, and the judge had pointed out to him that would not have been done by Ford.He wasn't docked or anything, but the judge just pointed it out to him.Everything in the car was done that way.Instrument panel screws, door handle screws, inside and out,the flats on the nuts and bolts on the engine were all lined up perfectly. His spark plugs were lined up perfectly too.If he thought they would have stayed he would have lined up the valve stems. He came to me looking for a wheel that had the valve stem hole in the absolute perfect horizontal position.I thought they were all the same, but he had a wheel that the stem was a few degrees off perfect when mounted on the spare tire carrier.

Hey Mike, were those days last weekend?:D

If you ever see Marco's roadster in person, it has the answers you seek.

Stay warm.

I've seen it. Twice. Nicely restored to the JS. Nothing 'over-restored' or it would have lost points for that.

It's nice to know that some of you are just as crazy as I am. ;) :D
