3rd brake light

I just bought a 6 volt positive ground 3rd brake light from one of our suppliers and since I have seperate turn signals in the bumper bars I can't wire like their diagram says. I want to mount it on my trunk carrier under the trunk. Can anybody help me wire this thing. I wanted the 3rd brake to work with the breakes and the turn signal to work with my signals in the bumper bars. It has 4 wires., Two go to ground and then two for either the signals or brake.
Thanks...

I did the same thing. I ran one wire from the switched side of the brake light switch to the back of my car. I connected the 2 non ground wires to the wire from the brake light switch. I mounted my 3 brake light in my rear window. Be sure to connect the 2 ground wires to a ground location. Clean the ground location to shinny metal.

The way Bill did it the whole bar will light with the brakes, no turn signal.

Note in his original post TomF states that the turn signals are separate bulbs from the brake lights. I don’t believe there is any way to wire the third light to have both brakes and turn signals function in the third light in this scenario. You have to choose one or the other. If you wire to the turn signals you won’t get brake lights, and if you wire to the brake lights you won’t get turn signals. To get both you need to separate the two brake lights from each other using the turn signal switch, and then use the brake lights as the turn signals.

I gave up trying to find a harness related fix to get my added rear bumper brake lights and rear window brake light to work properly. I ended up running the wires directly from the contacts on the brake light switch under the floor. Works like a charm and no crazy things happening with the turn signals or existing brake lights...which was the case when I spent a lot of hours trying to use the harness wiring. It took a couple of hour to run the wires unobtrusively and zip-tie them under the car neatly but it was worth it.

I believe I have the same setup.
Logolites signals in bumper, two fender mount t/lights and brakelighter in rear window
I don't see how that could work, the brake lights would need to be wired through the turn signal switch which it's not. I'd change mine but don't see how.
Maybe with the newer versions of logolites you can?

Ya Boby, I have to do some real investigating. A friend sent me a couple schematics on this so I will probably have to completely rewire mine. Are your logolite signals pretty
bright? Right now all I have are those less expensive ones that fit between the bumper
bars. Their not the brightest
