39 trunk handle question

What year are the two trunk handle bases? One says Deklite and one does not. One has two mounting studs and one has four. The handles fit both.

my 39 has the 2. and has the single long handle. the 38 is yje propellor handle

Also '38 license plate light bezel is stainless; '39 bezel painted same color as base. slightly different glass lens.

The four bolt base is 1938, the two bolt base is 1939. The 1939 also has a painted ring with an extra shade for the license lite lens at the top, the 1938 has a stainless oval ring.

The 4 bolt is early 38.
The 2 bolt will fit later 38 and all 39.

Can anyone tell me if the trunk handle base is different for a coupe and convertible vs a sedan trunk lid ?

They are the same - just the position is different.
The coupe handle has a longer shaft than a sedan.
Deklite seemed to be stamped only on the bases for the USA.
The export ones from Canada that came down here to New Zealand did not have that stamping.
