Are you looking for a nice 39 transmission that has no rust and shows evidence of being low mileage and in good shape? one with no chipped gears, and the synchro edges look sharp.

The top is nice, not much wear in usual places, e.g. notches in shifting rod.

Nice enough to be usable as-is, or might need only bearings for rebuild.

I have a Heavy Duty tub with plywood base for shipping. Can ship anywhere including out of U.S. for actual shipping cost. Pick up is possible 20 miles north of Baltimore Md.

You will look a long while before finding a nicer one.

Cost of the tub and packing for shipping is $20.00 in addition to $400 cost of transmission.

Suggest Greyhound as a possible shipper.

I have more pictures if desired.

It maybe just the angle, but the way the ruler is positioned it looks like the 2/3 shift fork width is less than 3 inches. Does the fork have 91A7130 on the other side?

If your masking tape tag is correct, the gearset is a 15T main drive and a 29T cluster that first come out in some 41 ford comm/pickups. Is that the correct count for this trans?

In Re: shifter fork, it has 91A-7230 stamped on it. Sorry about the angle on the picture, it's definitely 3" and the top fits correctly on the transmission.

In Re: Gearset ratio: we did a quick count and it looked like 15:29. As to when that particular gearset came out, I cannot say. We could be off a tooth one way or the other. The transmission appears to us to be low mileage, unmolested and with minimal wear. It has never been rusty.

I have about 30 other pictures of it, let me know if there is some view you would like to see.

Any other questions, please fire away. Thanks for your interest.
