39 Shifter Question

Where do I get the collar that slides down the shifter shaft to the base that prevents the shifter from pulling out of the base. Goes on the shifter tower My shaft will pull straight out .

I'm sure Mac Van Pelt can fix you up there. I'm sure I have one some place, but laying my hands on it is a whole different ball of wax.

ThirdGenAuto in TN or Van Pelt Sales, Batavia,OH. Here is a pic of the parts.Sounds like you are missing the top coned washer that has a lip .

Don't forget the leather washer, flat washer and the spring plus the paper gasket.
