I posted this a while back but thought that some of the newbies working on 38-39 PU's may find a use for this infomation. These trucks did not have a rear view mirror. I find it very unconfortable to drive without one. In my quest to find a suitable mirror I discovered a mirror from a closed car 49-53 Ford fits perfect and is the correct height to view back.
