I have a 39 ford 1 1/2 ton stakebody and am looking for basic assembly diagrams for frame, cab, engine trans, fenders, etc.Does anyone know of any I can print on line?
I don't think there is anything like what you want available. I had to go to Dearborn, Michigan to the Henry Ford Library to find a few assembly drawings for my 1935 1-1/2 ton truck. I was able to find one for the rear stake bed but nothing for the cab. The "Green Book" which is the Ford illustrated parts book is a good start for the engine diagrams and other sub-assemblies like the differential. You can sometimes find Ford parts books on eBay printed near the year of your truck that will have year-specific diagrams, but it's not a sure thing. Best of luck.
Thank you for responding. I have some books from 35-49 that have some information, but unfortunatly most of the diagrams are for international.i agree that my best option is the green bible, and have looked at them on ebay. Does anyone know if the cd is just as functional as the actual book. Also i would be very interested in the flatbed diagram. I'm not sure the green book would have that.
