Drip Rail confirms that this is a 1938 Ford Coupe, not 1939.

Second thoughts, that Coupe could be a 1937 model, as it has a Chrome Strip on the Running Board? This Trim was not offered on the 1938 Fords.

I stand corrected. It is a 1938 Ford Deluxe Coupe.
I was looking at the Stainless Strip on the Running Board.
The 1938 Fords never got this SS Trim.
That is what through me.

This is a great example of owners adding accessories when the car was new or near new. You could get the running board trim from the dealer through parts sales since it was in the 37 catalog, and have it installed on your new 38.

That looks like a rather wide pinstripe to me. not wide enough for a stainless trim strip.
I vote 37.

No, it is not above the body swage like a 38 Deluxe, back to 37.

The back part of the front fender is not full in shape like a 38 either.

Yep, definitely 37.
