39 and 40 truck differences?

I can see that there are different body lines but I was wondering if a 40 ford truck cab is any wider or roomier than a 39?

It's my understanding a 38-40 truck bed is the same-is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

Bed and rear fenders are the same '38 to '41. Tailgate on 41 does not have V 8 stamped into it as in '41 you could have a 4, 6, or 8 cylinder engine. Cabs from 38 to '39 are the same with opening windshields. Cabs from '40 to '41 are the same with non opening windshields and ribs around cab are different than '38 & '39. '42 to '47 cabs are the same beds and rear fenders are unique to those years.

While overall measurements are about the same 1938, 1939, 1940, and 1941 there are a lot of differences in details between 1938, 1939, and 1940-41, such as the dash, door panels, and other issues... I am not familiar with all the options and differences 1938 to 1939 but there have been notes in other threads.

As Bill noted, the beds and rear fenders are the same.
