does anybody have a procedure worked out for re- installing the regulator and quarter glass in the 39 tudor?

I am about to do the same thing. If you find something let me know. I kind of looked at doing it a couple of year ago and found something else to work on.

I'd say its a lot like a 37 tudor. Not easy to get in and out without breaking the glass. the weatherstrip guide is also a chore to fasten. I have seen some cars where they cut the inside metal loose and welded it back in.

I did mine on my 37' 2 dr sedan a few years ago. If I remember, the regulator has to be completely un bolted. It was a booger!! was interesting to find out the rear glass in the 37' 2dr sedan is the same pattern as the front.
