I passed thru Blue Springs, MO again this AM. The rusty 38 PU is still for sale. Owner is Doug ph 573-345-3333. I have not spoken with him. I can send photos when I get home. Truck was ~$5K a couple of years ago. Hopfully less now. rear fenders look good. No motor. Some Fordbarnner aughta save it. ie. Bed, seat base,fenders, etc. maybe the whole thing coiuld be repaired. Dash is punctured and rear is not 38. Gas filler hole in left rear fender.
My questions: It has a tubeular brace angled behind the grill. Is this original? Also what does the wing nut holding the side panels on look like? This has stamped metal with a big flat base and open wings. Funny front engine mounts: not for an 85 HP.
